Logic, it angers people. The Earth was here before man, and will be here after, and will do as it damn well pleases. Get the fuck out of it’s way, and don’t bitch when it shits on you.
No one’s bitching, home is home. Nashville isn’t the only city that got flooded. We’re not bitching, we’re reaching out to families that lost homes and cars, and family members because of the flood. Asking for help and donations is far from bitching. Sorry, sir. What can’t be controlled, can’t be controlled. Perhaps you would feel differently if your roots were placed somewhere that people genuinely care about one another, but regarding the hostility and lack of empathy you show, I’m guessing you don’t.
Wow, really? Some asshole is trying to make it our fault that it rained 13 inches in 2 days? Please. Natural disasters happen. Anywhere you live in the US there’s either going to be a risk of hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, floods, landslides, volcanos, drought, or some other natural disaster. Am I going to tell you go get over it and move somewhere else? Actually, of all the places I’ve lived, TN has the least amount of natural disasters. The occasional tornado. And guess what, we take care of it by helping each other.
So maybe you should stop being a dick and be happy that we’re getting though it.
